Alternate New World

People at the Global Across Network were researching thoughout in space using the invention called the Cosmic Telescope that is capable of viewing far away to search for new planets to find new species to do research as the cosmic telescope has a build in radio that the scientist can hear new race on the planet and deep space too.

The humanoid ferret name Professor Daily begin to hear something really eerie that sound so strange and uneasy that is coming from the east in space while the other researchers begin to find out what the noise coming from.

But one of the male researcher stop for it bit and heard voices on the planet and they begin to listen what those race on the planet are saying.

"The... white... star... Don't look at it my darling." The female alien said while Daily and the other researcher hearing it from the build in audio from the cosmic telescope. "My consciousness feel like they fading away after looking at it." She said as she beginning to lose consciousness. "Don't... Look... at..." She was cutoff as sound was heard that she has drop on the ground unconsciousness. 

Daily and the researchers were horrified at hearing the alien female has suddenly drop on the ground and stop talking. "Good god... What happen to her? is she alright?" Professor Daily said.

"I have no idea..." Professor Scope said, "She said about the white star and told her husband not to look at the white star, but she somehow look at the white star too and just suddenly stop talking and fainted on the ground.

Professor Quake begin to use the cosmic telescope to search in space. "Well I need to find the white star in space to see what's cau-" 

No don't! "Professor Craft said and stops him. "You heard what that female alien said in that audio from the cosmic telescope right?, if you look at that white star, your consciousness will be fading away."

"The human is right Professor Quake." Professor Aris said, "Looking at the white star will be worse than death, what we witness hearing from this audio, her husband and included herself has stare at the white dwarf star that has absorbs their consciousness and begin devouring it. Both of them enter into a coma state after looking at the star, without a consciousness, they stops processing external sensory information and the star act like as an indifferent, inescapble trap that erodes every beings mind through it's extreme physical and psychic density while the white dwarf star act like the hidden predator to wait for the beings to look at it and pulls their thoughts and feeds on it. I don't know how many of these out in space, some of them be a normal one or it be in a disguise to act like a normal white dwarf stars to feed on their thoughts. Our world is in infinite space in size and will be impossible to search for them if we even dare try to look at it."

Professor Craft and the other professors eyes widen after hearing her information about the white star. "Good lord... I never seen like this before, a star that feeds on their thoughts after looking at it? This is complete madness..." Professor Craft said. "and you said the humanoid world is infinite size and there are more of them acting like a normal white dwarf star in a disguise?"

"I believe so, so yes. As a mathematical, we live in a world in a infinite size that we are nothing but a speck of tiny dots living in a normal world. Compare to your human world what professor Emi discovered your dimension years ago, there is hope for your world, but in our world? We have hope for keeping these people safe from unusual threats on this planet. In space or beyond, we are insignificant beings living on this planet, but we will keep trying to keep our planet and this entire universe from major threats."

"Professor Aris? What should we do about the people looking up in the sky? Should we alert the people in the city to prevent them from looking at the stars at night?"

"I don't think it's necessary to alert the people in the city professor Quake. We perfectly fine since there is no white dwarf stars appear around our solar system. What we need to be worry about is to save those beings on other planets to prevent them from viewing it before their consciousness gets aborbed by it." 

Professor Craft was thinking a bit and had a idea. "Professor Aris, I think I got a idea." He said. "If we build some of these device to fly in space to track down one of the white dwarf stars to see it's a disguise or not and preventing these beings on those planets from looking up in the sky with their version of the telescope. Can we just put a huge shield around of it and see it will work?"

"That's a good question and a splendid idea professor Craft, however... it will be difficult for us which we might get exposed by viewing the white dwarf star that will absorbs our consciousness if we not careful enough. It will be a extremely dangerous mission to locate those white dwarf star in outer space which some of them can be in a disguise and hidden like a normal star just to feed on our consciousness."

Professor Craft gets up from his chair. "Right, we need to be ready for building this device which will take us 5 hours to get it done. I'll go search for Dence and let him know about this dangerous situation we dealing with." He said and exit out of the room to go downstairs to look for his human assistant somewhere.

"To be honest professor Aris, those beings on some planets that stare at that stars. Are they gone for good?" Professor Daily said.

"Yes... after their consciousness got absorbed by the white dwarf star, there is nothing we can do to save them. Their body remains biologically alive, but their consciousness are inside those white dawrf star in a endless silent void without a senses to anchor sanity and also slowly breaks down, endlessly reverberating like a corrupted data point and the heat is so unimaginable that will burn them without mercy of vaporization."

"Oh my gosh... that is so terrifying..." Professor Daily while shaking in fear.

"Indeed it is, we live in a cruel world which there are something really hostile in space or beyond that want to end existence so badly."

After the researchers got done using the cosmic telescope and discussing about the danger of those parasite white dwarf stars in outer space, they begin to focus on the white dwarf star immediately that is the danger to all lifeforms in the entire universe if any beings or included the people in the Global Across Network ever look at the star, their consciousness will be absorbed and then the star will devour it leaving their body like a empty shell. One of the other researcher reminded the other researchers not to tell any visitors coming here for a visit in the organization/museum hybrid explaining about the white dwarf stars that feeds on consciousness which will raise a huge risks for all the people freaking out and mistaking sea of stars at night and never wanted to look at the sky ever again because of their anxiety. The people in the Global Across Network organization want to keep this hidden as possible and try their best to locate these white dwarf stars in outer space that feeds on their consciousness to create a device to track them down to put a huge shield around it. These white dwarf stars in disguise are called the Chandrasekhar Maw coined by Professor Aris.
